Positive Karma

I haven’t been blogging lately because I realize I only complain about the bad things that I experience. I guess the bad experiences tend to say with me longer. So I am going to try something new, this is going to be a entry about everything good in the last week.
     Christmas turned out to be a really nice event this year, I was quite surprised. I decided that it was all about the giving, as I wasn’t expecting many gifts. I ended up being the only one of my housemates to buy gifts for the others, so it was a lot of fun being a Santa Clause. I fell like I even found gifts for them that reflect things they want or need. Then I found myself with extra time on Christmas day and was invited to my friend’s parents at the last minute. To my surprise, during present opening, I found there was a present for me. It was a simple set of socks, but it was by far the most useful gift I received.
     I have also enjoyed a very long relaxing week off work and school; it comes with working at a school. I have only managed to get a small amount of my to do list done, but that just gives me resolutions for the new year to break.
     For reasons I won’t go into, I have had the chance to drive my project car, a ’67 VW Beetle, a little more then normal lately. This has allowed my mind to wander into all kinds of project spins for that car, I am sure now it will keep me busy until I am done with school.
     I started using my free time to play W.O.W. again, on a friends account. At least one nice thing has come of that: I have found one of the few connections with my roommates boyfriend, whom I do not normally get along with.
     Okay, so I am running out of positive things to say… karma hasn’t been the nicest to me the last while. But then maybe it wasn’t all karma’s fault… self destruction? Who could say.
